Actually we do sell raw meats. When you get there ask one of the servers and they will show you the way right before you get to the kitchen we have a small meat display
Yes
No
When did you left it here?
As in the roasted corn on the cob, no. I don't recall if they had any other types.
Very nice interior pleasant service servers stay ahead of the game
Picked up an order to go and was pleasantly impressed. All fresh, prepared quickly and very delicious. The tacos were top notch and the chimichangas were too. Great customer service. Will definitely be returning.
Nice atmosphere It's great
The Green salsa is so good! The food is freaking delicious between my husband and we have had the fajitas, torta, molcajete, Mojarra, Pork and fish dishes and all are perfect! The dip with chorizo is out of this world 😋 Plus they always have chips to go when you order on the phone. Win win!
One of the best Latin food options in Augusta. Food is always delicious and fresh. Drinks are tasty and very reasonably priced.
Great food the staff was friendly to our family. During CoVid-19 it was awesome to find a friendly clean spot to take the family. Food was great and authentic. Great waiter.
Stopped in for lunch. Service was just ok, a little haphazard. My wife enjoyed the Sope, my enchiladas were just ok.
Very good food and friendly service.
As close to Los Angeles as you are going to get in terms of authenticity. Very good Mexican food, great little salsa bar!! Great service!! Very friendly staff, courteous management and very pleasant owner.
The best authentic Mexican food in Augusta. The staff are the most friendless and helpful people! Will not go to another restaurant!
A hole in the wall, but the food was disappointing. It’s a restaurant where you wait to be seated. It’s a large place with plentiful seating. We were seated right away. The service was lackluster. We were given chips, but no salsa. We didn’t notice the salsa bar until we started looking around. The server did not inform us of this. The salsa bar has many types of salsa to choose from and bring back to the table in tiny cups. Too small to dip a chip in properly. The tortillas were good, seemed home made. The rest of the food is how Mexican food is in Georgia. It tastes like canned food heated in a microwave. The worst part is that I used the restroom. It was filthy. It really made me feel ill. I will never go back because of how filthy it was. Dirty restrooms make you wonder how they maintain the kitchen. Seriously, I hope they wash their hands. I really wish I had a better experience. We like supporting local restaurants.
El Rey's is consistently good. The atmosphere is nice and clean. Service is always prompt. Great place for friends and family.
This restaurant was unexpectedly good as we stopped in Augusta. I loved the salsa bar with options for anyone in your party. The tacos were simple but very favorable. My husband had the margarita and said it was very good.
Honestly if I could give this place no stars I would they have a VERY RUDE SERVER! And manager didn’t even bother to apologize or say anything to us!!!
Tacos were great! They also had a large salsa variety. After coming here from Texas, I've been looking for authentic Mexican cuisine. The restaurant has plenty of space and parking. It was a great environment. I will be back again.
My wife and I were very displeased, we told the wait that we had never been here before and he just ignored that so we had no idea about the salsa bar. When we ordered our food it arrived with several items in it that was not mentioned by the waiter or the menu then when we asked for it to be corrected we were given scowl. Food was returnes twice and still was not right. We will not be coming back, maybe it was a bad waiter and a bad day but we will not tale that chance again. Not to mention my wife is fluent in several languages and we could over here the other waiters and waitresses speaking vile things about other customer and was shocked to have my wife confront them in the language, horrible experience.
We ordered food from here via Augusta Takeout. Delivery service is stellar but the restaurant should be ashamed for serving this food! Let's see where should I start.1. Requested cheese to be added to kids burger. There was so much cheese that I had to scrape off a lot of the cheese for him to eat it.2. The tortillas are thick and have a funny texture.3. Paid for guacamole be added to my Pollo Concrema. Yep no guacamole, money wasted. And no it was not in a side container.4. You choose 3 types of salsas you want. I only received one sauce!Overall I am very very unhappy with the food I received. If I was at the restaurant I would have sent all the food back and ask for a refund!
Great place food and staff. A remodelating would help though .
Best Mexican restaurant in Augusta hands down. This is the go-to spot for my wife and I when going out to eat. A definite plus is the affordability of meals, but would pay more with no problem knowing how good the food is and how great the employees are!
Excellent food. My hubby and I Had the Enchiladas El Patron with Carnitas (me) and chicken (him). Delicious. My little had the cheesesteak burrito. Large enough for 3 for sure and she enjoyed it. Only issue we had was there is no alcohol served! Would have loved a margarita with this awesome meal.
Very authentic. Great variety of taco fillings and a fantastic salsa bar.
One of the best Mexican restaurants in town. It's give taqueria El patron a run for its money as to which is the best, but I'll leave the for others to decide. The tacos are simply amazing, the menudo is divine, and the salsas (of which there are many available) are insanely good, just be careful because they tend to be pretty spicy. Oh, and the horchata has free refills. I am in love.
Magnificent! Best cheesesteak burrito I have had yet!! Deserts also were also delicious!!
Food is good I had 2 Chile Rellenos, tea, and they have a salsa bar all for $12. The service was a bit lacking it seemed as though everyone working was distracted (maybe it was because of the children running around). Don't misunderstand me I'm a father of four, but at restaurants your kids are there to eat not run wild and if you work there it's not a place to have them running through the tables. Finally at the end of my meal a gentleman that wasn't my waitress (she was virtually non existent) asked me if I wanted some tea and if everything was fine.. Tousche to him.
Waste of time. $12 per pound of carne asada is unheard of, proud much????
Love the Mia's burrito with fries inside. Salsa bar is dangerous.
I went with a group for Taco Tuesday, $2.00 for each taco. The staff was very attentive. The staff checked back with the group frequently. There was a gentleman singing and playing the guitar. Who had a pleasant voice. I ordered two asada tacos with cheese dip. The flavor of the cilantro over powdered the flavor of the steak. The cheese dip was very oily. I did enjoy the fresh salsa bar. All in all, a nice group experience.
Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Augusta. Great food and wonderful staff
Very Good! They have a great menu and a salsa bar! The Torta Cubana is next level. Wow.
This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant I have been to in town! The food didn’t make my stomach hurt in the least bit, as Mexican food typically does. The salsa bar was fresh (I do wish the waitress had mentioned that we serve ourselves salsa as it was my first time there, but my husband told me). The food was delivered very promptly. Our waitress spoke limited English, but she was very nice. I highly recommend. The surf and turf burrito is delicious and enough for 2 meals!
Seriously just order a bunch of tacos, gorditas, or sopes, or a combination of them. They have a fresh salsa bar with just about every topping you could want from blended salsa to more lightly chopped mixes and individual toppings.
Just move here from Nayarit and tacos are ok, customer servicio Es 💯malo. My total order was wrong and they never answer the phone. 👋🏼👋🏼Diablo get my💵
Love El Rey and how they are constantly innovating. Its refreshing to see the business owners trying out new things or ideas. Food is amazing and staff has always been friendly! Its a huge plus how close they are to my job for lunch!
Excellent Authentic Mexican FoodThe interior of the restaurant needs some work. However, the food is great and the staff are friendly. The salsa is made fresh daily, and they offer a variety of Mexican dishes you can't get elsewhere in town.
We usually go to Taqueria El Patron, but went here for a friend's birthday. It was delicious! We will definitely be back!
Clean, nice staff, food was amazing.
The "El Tiny" burrito was amazing!!! 20" of heaven. The pulled pork inside the burrito was the best I have EVER had! You have to try it.
Delicious food and a great salsa bar.
Definitely the best street tacos in town! And they have a salsa bar you can visit as many times as you want!! Who would go elsewhere?!?!
The salsa bar is amazing! If you are looking for authentic tasting Mexican food...this is definitely the place. The burritos are as big as your forearm!
Love this place best Mexican in Augusta, especially like the Alambre gorditas!
Not good at all.. make sure you order your food hot cause we order tacos and tripe was still frozen
Food is on point, always good and authentic. They even offer a bit of Tex Mex for those used to the norm.
The tacos were excellent but the soup left a little to be desired. Overall the food was prepared quickly after we ordered for take out and the meal was a great price for the amount of food. We came on Tuesday where they have a discount on tacos. I wish the soup was a little better but overall our expectations were met.
They have a salsa bar with multiple salsas. Their food is absolutely delicious and is not the typical Tex Mex type of food. I had the carne asada and loved it. Every bite was filled with flavour. I will be returning
This is my new spot for authentic Mexican cuisine. I had the torta cubana. It was excellent. Do not be afraid to have it your way. The staff is friendly and eager to serve. Take out is available but there's a 50 cent to go charge (worth it). Check them out they are ready and waiting.
Great Mexican restaurant. Love the avacado salsa with breakfast tacos.
Love it! Dont yall hate some people give mex restaurant a 3star . Because they ordered burger and expect it to be good 😂😂🤦🏻♂️
It Was Ok. Salsas Mexican Is Better
The food was excellent, as was the service. The restaurant was clean and well lit. I highly recommend this restaurant.
